Crewe is in the Borough of Crewe and Nantwich in Cheshire and in the vicinity of the rural countryside of the Weaver Valley. You will find villages, canals, waterside accommodations and is the ideal place for retreat.

It is close to the city of Chester, well known for its shopping therapy.

There is a lot of attractions on offer in Crewe and its surroundings. The Municipal Buildings, designed by Edwardian Architect Henry T Hare offers guide tours for groups. The Museum of the 19th century “Ranter” Chapel has a collection of books and artefacts from the past.

Crewe is associated to the railway and its industry and it is not until the late 1830s that it became well known when the Grand Junction Railway company chose it for its locomotive works and it became a major junction. The Rail Age Museum will give you insight of Crewe’s rail history. Model and miniature railways are there for you to enjoy along with protope trains and locomotives.

Crewe’s Lyceum Theatre, built in 1911 is a Grade II listed building that has been recently refurbished and offers Edwardian splendour with lovely carvings, intimate seatings making it a very enjoyable venue.
